Hao Zi Yoh, a Malaysian pianist, has received widespread recognition for her remarkable sensitivity and sense of color. She has performed at various festivals across the globe, including Europe, the USA, China, Japan, and Malaysia. At the age of 12, she was invited to perform at Carnegie Weill Recital Hall as a gold medallist of the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition. Her composition "Bustling City and Peaceful Suburb" was chosen to represent Malaysia at the Yamaha APJOC concert 2007. Hao Zi has performed in several prominent concert halls and festivals, including Wigmore Hall, Southbank Royal Festival Hall, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Salle Cortot, and Teatro Quirino, and has collaborated with orchestras such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Nova Amadeus, and Balearic Symphony. She has also made appearances on BBC Radio Berkshire and Scala Radio.
Hao Zi is an artist of the Kirckman Concert Society and recently made her debut at Kings Place. She was also invited to perform on BBC Radio 3 In Tune. Hao Zi received piano education from Chong Lim Ng before moving to Germany at the age of 14 to study with Prof. Elza Kolodin at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, Germany. In 2014, she moved to London Royal Academy of Music for her Master's Degree and Professional Diploma under Prof. Christopher Elton and graduated in 2017. In 2022, she received a full scholarship to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance to study under Martino Tirimo.
Currently based in London, Hao Zi continues to pursue her passion for music as a concert pianist and piano tutor, both privately and at King's College London. Her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft have earned her a well-deserved reputation as one of the most promising pianists of her generation.
